Prayer Call (UPDATED again)

I want all of you to pray and send positive thoughts to my friend. Her mother has melanoma, had some serious surgery on her face, and is going back under the knife today. They are doing plastic surgery on her. Please, please, please send good vibes to my friend and her mother. They are both scared and need some uplifting, so ya'll do what you do best and leave some support in the comments and a few words with the Big Guy.

I also have another friend who is struggling with health issues of her own. She is the MOST amazing person I have ever come across. I'm not gonna tell you her deeds because I promised not to, but suffice it to say, if you knew, you would call her a bona fide hero. One of those totally selfless Givers. She needs some love too. And prayers. And good wishes. And a big thank you for what she does and how she does it, even if you don't know what it is.

More upsetting news! Yet another friend is going through some testing for a very serious condition and she needs this too. I'm getting very mad at the fates right now. Atropos better keep her fucking scissors away from the thread of all the people I adore. It is distressing to me to be asking how someone is and getting not just "Having a shitty day," but this heart pounding, fear inducing news.
