The Mommy Voice

Oh yes, I have one of those Mommy Voices. I was talkin’ to SK the other morning/afternoon and my Little Man was harassing the shit outta me for some cereal. Ok, he had eaten a TON of food already, but I got him a big bowl of cereal and had him sit down at the table. Not even 5 minutes later, he comes into my room and tells me he’s full. He ate maybe ONE bite.

I told him to go sit down and finish his cereal. He tells me “No!” Ohhhh, I started in on him and SK just says, “Bye!!” and hangs up.

I will sometimes pitch my voice low and the kids know to stop fuckin’ around IMMEDIATELY.

Oh, there are many ways to use that voice…for good AND for evil.

That’s why after telling you all of that…this does not surprise me. If this had to do with “alarm,” you KNOW mom was using the Mommy Voice.
